I’ve started the #shred for the wedding, which although is off to a very slow start, it’s a start.
I find sometimes the hardest part of a health kick is going weeks and weeks eating well and exercising, yet the scales just aren’t cooperating.
Before you start, I know the number on the scale doesn’t matter, muscle weighs more than fat and it’s how you feel blah blah but it’s kinda nice to see the number decrease just slightly from time to time.
At around about the same time I decided it’s time to stop going to the vending machine and buying chocolate after lunch and to start getting wedding and summer-ready, I was sent the Bangn body firming lotion from Hive PR.
Not going to lie, I was quite sceptical of what it said it could do.
The bright yellow box made claims I thought at the time were impossible.
- Reduces redness, bumps, and breakouts with its anti-inflammatory properties
- Increases skin circulation, collagen production and blood flow that helps reduce cellulite, stretch marks and scarring
- Brightens and hydrates the skin and acts as a moisture magnet
- Firms and tightens the skin
- Fights free radical damage and slows down the ageing process
…yeah, ok sure.
I think I was adamant to prove it wouldn’t work and set out on my Bangn Body journey.
A little about me, I’m very bottom-heavy.
To put it into perspective, when I went wedding dress shopping, the assistant measuring me advised I was a size 8 on top and a 14 on the bottom- this explains why clothes don’t fit me!
As instructed, I put it on after showering each night and I thought at least the product smelled delightfully tropical with shea butter, pineapple fruit oil and green coffee bean.
Fast forward three weeks, I was standing with one hand on my hip and noticed something wasn’t quite the same. I carry weight on my hips from front all the way to the back and they are quite wide and prominent.
Upon further inspection in the mirror, I noticed the pudgy bits on the back of my hips had firmed and were flatter. I also saw the skin around the outer tops of my thighs and bottom were tighter and looked so much smoother.
I haven’t been paid to write this and it may seem I’m exaggerating here, but guys, this stuff is the real deal.
I jumped online and read how exactly it worked and learned it uses all-natural ingredients including coconut oil, aloe vera leaf juice and pineapple fruit extract.
You may be thinking that of course, I’m firmer, because I’ve started exercising, but even when I was a few kilos lighter, I still had cellulite and felt a little soft on the hips and thighs.
My skin is smoother and has reduced the prevalence of cellulite and I feel more motivated than ever to continue eating healthy and exercising (except for this morning where I snoozed through my workout and stayed in bed for an extra hour)
Now you may be taken back by the $48 price tag but it’s honestly 100% worth it. You only use a small amount each night and can you really put a price on looking in the mirror and feeling more confident?
I give this product a solid 5/5 ⭐️

Hey! I’ve just ordered this online and am essentially buying it for the same reason. I exercise quite regularly but my hips are definitely my problem area. Did you find it oily at all and did your skin struggle to absorb it quickly?

Hi Kathmozz,
I usually apply it after a bath or shower and my skin just soaks it up.
Maybe try with a little amount the first time you use it, then add more just to see how you go 🙂
