Quickly becoming one of my favourite red wines, Grenache (pronounced gruh-nash) originates from both Spain and France with Australia better known for blending the grape with Shiraz and Mourvèdre.

If you’re a fan of Shiraz, you should give this drop a try with a tomato based, veal or fish dish.

What to bring to your next dinner party:

DAREN30614-main
d’Arenberg
The Shepherd’s Clock
Grenache Shiraz Mourvedre 2015

The tasting notes read: “warm and rich with loads of plummy fruit and chocolatey oak, fresh herb and spice, fine tannins and crunchy acidity.”

To be honest, I can’t remember any of those things but I do remember it tasted real good!

Retailing for $20-$24 this drop can be purchased from Wine Selectors and Liquorland.

Give it a try and leave your thoughts in the comments below.
