and then a hero comes along

On Fridays, I usually finish work early to kick-start the weekend and I often find myself at the shops ‘just looking’ and not spending any money whatsoever… Yeah right!

I was aimlessly wandering around Mecca recently and saw the Go-To sheet masks on display and thought I’d give it a try.

I’ve heard so much about the brand and I love everything Zoë Foster Blake touches so thought, why not. The retail assistant asked me if I’d tried the mask before to which I responded no, her eyes lit up and said it’s the best sheet mask out there and I’d love it.

She then asked if I’d tried the Face Hero oil and gave me a sample. Not only does it smell divine, I honestly don’t know how I didn’t have this in my beauty routine before.

I’ve done a complete overhaul of my skincare and beauty routines and have been focussing on only putting quality products onto my skin. I’m closer to 30 than 25 now and it’s important I transition into a more grown-up routine.

My new routine consists of the below steps and in the last four days, my skin has never been more silky smooth, clear, bright and fresh.

After wetting my face, I grab a 5 cent sized amount of Organic Spa cream cleanser and rub it into my face. I then grab my new facial cleanser brush and scrub my face for 3-4 minutes.

I then wash off the cleanser and brush head and pat dry. I wait around 1 minute to let my skin settle and then grab my Go-To Face Hero.

You only need 4-5 drops in the palm of your hands before you rub your hands together and before gently massaging all over the face and neck. Once all rubbed in, I let my skin chill out for another minute before applying my Organic Spa moisturizer.

I only use a pea size amount of moisturizer and rub it into my face and neckline to leave my skin feeling refreshed, bright and plump; ready for a new day or good nights sleep.
