can crystals help your skin?

Today I purchased the rose quartz heart facial sculptor from Miranda Kerr’s Kora Organics and I’m already in love!

There’s been a huge increase in popularity with integrating crystals into your beauty routine, usually in the form of rollers, and I think anything that is all natural has my tick of approval.

It’s important that we treat our skin as well as what we eat and reducing the number of chemicals we put onto our face is paramount to maintaining healthy skin as we age.

If you’re a regular reader you’ll know I’m slowly converting into a huge fan of crystals so I’m all about learning about how to integrate them into my life more.

The facial sculptor is heart-shaped and helps with stimulating circulation, removing puffiness and sculpting the face. Packaged in a white square box, the crystal comes with a how to use guide. It’s a great gift this Christmas, or a ‘treat yo’self’ moment.

According to one of my fav stores, Mineralism, rose quartz is a heart chakra and is known as the stone of universal love. Its properties include amplifying loving energy, emotional healing, self-love, friendship, stress relief and calming the mind. (All things I need from time to time at work!)

Kora recommends daily use for 3-5 minutes, but I think I’ll be reaching for it throughout the day as it’s cool and smooth texture feels so refreshing and calming on my skin. It also encourages me to pause, look away from my screen and take a moment for myself.

It now has a new home on my desk next to my lepidolite crystal and the evergrowing rainforest on my desk.
