I would apologise for all the wedding spam, but I’m really not sorry!
After planning this special day, postponing it, and replanning it again, I wanted to take a moment to shine the spotlight on our amazing vendors.
If you’re planning a wedding yourself, I hope you’re able to use one (or all) of these incredible people.
In no particular order…
Photographer- Blaise Bell
If you’re after a photographer who captures those special candid moments, Blaise is your man.
He brought such a calming vibe to everywhere he went and made me feel so comfortable. Blaise is friendly, professional and super talented and I cannot recommend him enough.

Cheese Cake: Formaggi Ocello
This cheese was next level delicious. Sogna and the team at Formaggi Ocello are angels sent from cheese heaven.
Tucked away on Bourke Street in Surry Hills, entering the store brings all your cheese dreams to a reality. Originally we were serving the cheese for desert, but decided after our French-based guests were no longer able to attend (Thanks, Covid!) we served the cheese with flat bread and dinner rolls as a mini apéro before the entree.

Wedding Celebrant: Jessie Cacchillo
The one consistent piece of feedback I received after the ceremony was it was one of the best people had attended.
Jessie has the ability to create a romantic and intimate ceremony that is a perfect reflection of the couple. She takes time to get her know her couples and is a true professional in the business.
If you’re struggling to find a celebrant, you need to call Jessie!

Wedding Cake: The Cupcake Factory
My biggest fear when it comes to big cakes, is that they look pretty but are dry and tasteless. All I can say is this cake was so delicious!
I received so many comments about how yummy it was and I enjoyed devouring my piece, too!
Janine at the Cupcake Factory is a magician and she creates beautiful and delicious cakes that capture the vibe of your special say.

Flowers: A Song of Beginning
These flowers were stunning.
Gemma understood exactly what I was after and created something that complimented the overall vibe so elegantly.
She transformed the room into something so beautiful and I can’t thank her enough for everything she did.
Gemma also can set up a flower wrapping station which allowed guests to take table arrangements to wrap and take home with them- genius!

Gelato Cart: A Song of Beginning
The gelato was one of my favourite parts of the night and the flavours were divine!
I loved seeing people heading back for seconds and thirds and it was a fun little way to mingle whilst lining up.

We fell in love with the Mint the first time we saw it but when I walked into the courtyard and saw my family and friends it was made it so much more special.

Reception: Ovolo Woolloomooloo
I think Alex and the team at Ovolo Woolloomooloo could have a whole blog dedicated to them.
Ovolo was the one constant thing throughout this whole wedding planning, rescheduling and planning again! Alex was always so helpful and had a solution to any problem.
They made the night so special and the team were so incredibly friendly and lovely.
I don’t think my glass ever reached half way before it was topped up. The food was delicious, the layout was great and they made it all so seamless.

Wedding Planner: Janet at jeventdesign
I saw Janet running around making everything perfect for the day. I underestimated the need for an on-the-day wedding coordinator, but having Janet put my mind at ease.
She knew every vendor, every time on the timesheet and was everywhere she needed to be.
Florian and I honestly couldn’t have done this wedding without her.

Make Up Artist: Maria from Maria’s Beauty Bar
It was so wonderful having Maria at the house to help us get ready. She’s such a warm person and brought such a nice vibe.
She helped transform me into the bride I always dreamt of being and glammed up my bridesmaids to the max.
Maria is the best in the bizz and if you want make up that is flawless and literally lasts all day without need for a touch up, she’s your lady.
