I’m never going to pretend I am an expert at makeup because that’d be a lie people would be quick to establish, but what I am is an avid online reader and have compiled tricks I have found along the way.
I have found a tip to help take my mascara game from ‘did you do that in the dark’ to somewhat looking like I know what I’m doing.
You don’t need a lot of money for this one and you’ll even get change from a $10 note.
For some reason, when I apply mascara, I manage to get more on my eyelids than on my lashes. Often in a flurry, I would always go to wipe off the little black dots and end up smearing it across my eyelids.
Two words for you: eyebrow brush.
You can get a 50 pack from Chemist Warehouse for less than $10!
The key to removing those splatters that fall on your cheeks and eyelids is to let it dry for 15-20 seconds and then grab an eyebrow brush and flick off the mascara.
I don’t know how it works but it does and finding this tip in a Khloe Kardashian beauty tutorial has changed my make up game forever.
I’ve been using the same brush for weeks and just rinse it out every couple of days to keep it nice and clean.
You can thank me later!
