It’s official; I’m becoming a yogi…well, that’s the plan anyway.
I came across vlogger Yoga with Adrienne on Youtube one evening -after having started with carpool karaoke, followed by the trailer for Tulip Fever- and thought ‘Maybe this is what I need right now!’
If you’ve been keeping up to date with my last Flowers on Friday post you’d have read I’m feeling super unmotivated lately, I’m always tired and I’ve had a lot of muscle aches in my shoulders and back (oh boohoo Dom!)
For years I’ve heard of the benefits Yoga has on the body and I’ve tried a couple of gym classes but never followed through with it.
Today is day 2 of the Yoga challenge and I can say I’m feeling pretty good. I noticed my shoulders aren’t caving in, I’m sitting up more straight and I’m feeling a lot more focused than I normally do, and it’s all thanks to Adriene!
Each video only runs for 30 minutes so it’s really hard to make an excuse to not fit it in. I’ll be sure to follow up with a post when I’m halfway through the challenge and let you know how I’m feeling + it’ll force me to keep it going!
*Namaste*
